Success of our students in District competition of high-school students in their research projects (Okresní kolo Středoškolské odborné činnosti).

We are very pleased to inform you that Miss Irena Malichova has won District competition of high-school students in their research projects (Okresni kolo Stredoskolske odborne cinnosti). Also, Miss Tereza Kramplova got very nice 3rd place. Both students work in our lab as volunteers in the frame of project Otevřená věda II and Badatel. Irena, student of gymnasium Šternberk, studied involvement of photoreceptors in tomato seed responses to osmotic stress. Tereza, student of gymnasium Hejčín in Olomouc, worked on involvement of anion channels in tomato seed germination in interaction with light.

The competition took place in April 20, 2011 in Slovanské gymnasium in Olomouc.
