Success of our students in Regional competition of high-school students in their research projects (Krajské kolo Středoškolské odborné činnosti).

We are very pleased to inform you that Miss Irena Malichova has taken 2nd place in Regional competition of high-school students in their research projects (Krajské kolo Stredoskolske odborne cinnosti). Also, Miss Tereza Kramplova got very 4th place. Both students work in our lab as volunteers in the frame of project Otevřená věda II and Badatel. Irena, student of gymnasium Šternberk, studied involvement of photoreceptors in tomato seed responses to osmotic stress. Tereza, student of gymnasium Hejčín in Olomouc, worked on involvement of anion channels in tomato seed germination in interaction with light.

The competition took place in May 11, 2011 in Reálné gymnasium in Prostějov.
